Everytime I try to play a song on iTunes, it says "!" right beside the song. How can I fix it so I can play the song? Thanks in advance

i get my songs from itunes. But it deletes them?

Right. So it probably means that the file was moved. Most often this can also happen if you download a file from the internet and OPEN it but don't SAVE it.

It gets put into a temporary folder which is then deleted after iTunes is closed. Therefore that location doesn't exist.

But most often it means that the music file is no longer where it used to be so it gives you an error.

it means the location of the song file you're trying to play has changed or the file's been deleted or the drive is unavailable... basically, the file pointer cannot find the file. if you know where the file is, the program should give you an option to locate the file.
