There really isn't anything that you can do as of now.
Other than that, I would pray to God for answers, as that seems the logical explaination from most people.
Try and use this experience and terrible tragedy to help others who feel there isn't a way out.
Remember, he felt that no one could save him, and he took the easy way out. Just pray that his soul isn't lost.
I'll have you in my thoughts.
Take care.

How awfully sad, particularly at this time of year. I hope you find the strength to know that you were not responsible for your friend's passing. Your friend chose this path or taking drugs and I'm not completely sure, not knowing the details, that you could have done anything to save him. Some drugs are so powerful and deadly, they just kill and nothing could have saved them. I am sure that your friend would definitely not want you to die on account of his actions. I wish you much peace. Rest and take care of yourself. If you can't find relief, please check into a mental health professional. There are alot of free clinics all over the country. I am one person who cares about you.

ive never felt the pain your feeling right now, and no one can work a miracle to save a life unless your a doctor, im very very truly sorry for your loss, and tho i have no experience, my bf lost his step-dad (who was pretty much his dad) he had been his SD since he was 3 and taught him everything and was there for him no matter what when his own dad wasnt, taught him to be an electrician, what my bf always wanted to be and currently is, and 2 years ago he past away. he had a hospital born disease that couldnt be cured, and my bf told me himslef if i had been there for him during his mourning he would have most likely killed himself. so im saying find someone who can help u through this, no one can do it alone, but take it one day @ a time and think of how your friend would have wanted you to live and get through this, you know he/she wanted you to have the best life you could possibly imagine. please dont hurt yourself.

Honey you are not God. We can only extend the help to those who need it. If they don't want to receive it then there's not much more you can do other than to pray. When you pray for that person also pray for strength for yourself to continue being a good friend. Don't ever beat yourself up about another person's life because there's nothing you can do humanly. Look into volunteering where you can help those who want the help, it could be a blessing.

I feel for you. You are not at fault. Your friend found something in the drug to ease something personal in his own life. You may have tried...but he probably just agreeded with you so you would think everything is ok. People who are involved with it need to hit bottom, unfortunatly bottom sometimes is death. In others, its the law, or getting left with no one or hurting someone they love themselves. Please dont blame yourself. I am sure he does not blame you either.

Calm down. You didn't force him to take drugs, that was his choice. Let this be a reminded to you why you should always say no to drugs if someone asks you to take them.

maybe he didn't want to be saved. Eventually some of us simply give up hope and choose to die instead of fight. When we reach that point its over. Nothing you can do will ever bring us back.
Sorry for your loss.

I'm sure you did the best you could. People have to want to be saved. If they don't accept help, there's nothing anyone can do for them. Forgive him..................AND yourself.
