Not particularly...but then again, I don't start on Christmas stuff before Halloween's over like many people do. I don't brave the crowds the day after Thanksgiving either - that's just ridiculous. No...I don't have time for that...I work full time and then some (and just switched jobs after Thanksgiving so putting in time at both) and just wrapped up my college semester a week ago (nearly full time student)...so until this week, I haven't even had time to worry about Christmas. So no, I guess it's not draining for me. I think too many people live for Christmas throughout the year and when it finally gets here they're exhausted, 'drained', just plain worn out and usually a lot of let down accompanies that.

christmas is a remberance, it can't drain. Our feelings and spirit are draining. so we all need to chill out by the fireplace, take a deep breath, and chip in a little bit and do somthing for someone else to help lift up the spirit of Christmas!!!
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!!

No, not really...actually I have noticed that most people, myself included, seem to have a nice game plan and everything's running more smoothly than other years. I guess it's all in how you perceive it...I started my shopping early (most of it online) and before I even left my house to go to any stores I remind myself that it is the holiday season and I must take extra patience with me to compensate for any rudeness. Once I found myself in this mindset, the rude people were non-existent. Very interesting. I guess it's all in attitude...and ready or not, here it comes! (came up quickly, didn't it??)

It happens in the grind of present buying and gift giving, and cooking, and all the other stuff. It is important to remember that Christmas is about family and the joy of the season. Hang in there, it's worth it.

it's always draining pockets. but what i like about the season is the fact that people have this chance to re-establish family relationships (at least in my country).

It is for my family because of personal and financial situations, but for our kids we are trying to keep up the spirit. The closer it gets the more stressful it is
