On christmas eve I go to my grandparents house. So does my whole family (on my moms side) everybody brings a snack (like cookies or something) and a dish for the main meal. We vistit and snack untill its time for church. We go to church and when we get back we ear our dinner. After dinner we open presents. One person at a time so that everyone else can watch and see what they got and their reaction. After we have all our presents open we sit and experiment with our presents, and talk and the kids go play with theirs. After a while everyone goes downstairs where there is a table full of small gifts. We stand around the table and take turns rolling a pair of dice. If you roll a pair you get to pick any present on the table. The gifts are normally each less than $5. After all the gifts are gone we trade and give away the gifts untill everyone has what they want. Then I drive home with my parents and my siblings and we put out cookies and milk and go to bed and get ready for more presents and family and fun in the morning.

Get the house clean, start preparing foods for the next day. I do any prep work I can to make cooking on Christmas easier.
We usually have a easy but still nice meal, bake cookies for Santa, and watch one of the classic Christmas movies. (Frosty, Rudolph, etc.) Then my kids get to open one present (they always get new pj's on Christmas Eve, set out the cookies and egg nog for Santa, then off to bed.

Morning - Go and buy the vegetables for christmas dinner, and pick up any last minute foody bits that I might have forgotten.
Afternoon - House tidying, and getting the kids involved in the clean up to sap a little of their christmas buzz so they'll eventually go to sleep!
Evening - Tuck the kids up in bed. When they're asleep, whizz down to Mum and Dad's, who live 10 minutes away and lend me present storage space each year, to pick up the prezzies. Sneak around the house to make any last arrangements. You have to sneak, it's the only night of the year that my kids sleep like Ninja assassins...
Eventually go to bed, and set the alarm for half an hour before I estimate the offspring to wake up.

We go to Olive Garden for dinner. We let the children open one gift before bed. After the kids have been in bed for an hour then we start putting their stockings and presents from Santa out.

Usually I spend the day visiting family. Later (around 7 or so) I will probably put on Christmas music, bake cookies with my son, let him open one gift, get him ready for bed & then I have a glass of wine. When he goes to bed I'll spend time with the husband , have another glass of wine, get it on, & then put the presents under the tree & go to bed.

I make sure that all of the decorations are on. I then make sure that the x-mas candy is on the table. I wrap my last minute x-mas gifts. I then make sure that my (3) bad sons have had their bath's, let them watch their x-mas movies, and then off to bed.
I then have to finish preparing my x-mas dinner for the family, and adult relaxation time. Because I know that x-mas morning these kids are going to drive me crazy with all of the toys going off. Hooking up my 16 year old ps3, and my infant is going to be into everything. What a day; please do not remind me.

lol I finish wrapping the gifts, I help my mom do all the cooking and stuff, I take a shower, I dress nice, change a thousand times, dry my hair, put some make-up on, when I'm ready I have a drink, have dinner with the family, then we exchange the gifts, we eat and drink, maybe play some games, and then off to bed cuz it starts all over again on the next day.
Phew, I'm already tired!
