Well, it depends really. There are three types of allrounders; Batting, Bowling and wicket-keeping alrounders. So, here's what I think from each of the category -
BATTING ALL-ROUNDERS
1- Chris Gayle since he's in the best of forms lately and has helped the West Indies in many situations throughout 2006
BOWLING ALL-ROUNDERS
1- Shaun Pollock and Shane Watson. Shaun is experienced and is bowling consistently while Shane is a "newbie" and all fired up with quite good performances.
WICKET KEEPING ALL-ROUNDERS
1- Adam Gilchrist all the way! there is no stopping this guy in both tests and ODI's. He's been in the greatest of forms. I think, in the 20-20 W'cup, he's going to top the scoreboard!
Well, that's my say. Hope I dint bore you:)

Jacques Henry Kallis ( South Africa ) - As of September 2006 he became the only cricketer in the history of the game to hold more than 8,000 runs and 200 wickets in both Test and One Day International cricket.
No other Cricketer in the history of the game has this double feat, Jayasuria has done that in ODI's but not tests and Sir Garfield Sobers have done that in Tests only.
