I'll be heading to Langkawi for three days from 31/12 to 2/1. On financial constraint and am looking for cheap (read: < RM 100/ night) accommodation. Any suggestions? And do share your islanding experiences with me, especially that of the more adventurous type, ie. parasailing, diving etc.

p/s: will anyone else be there?

hi!i just come back from langkawi yesterday for vacation.

if u want the cheap accom.,you will find there's many at Pantai Chenang.easy food, many facilities, lotsa other places to check out just nearby.lotsa tourist there:)

but for the activities u've said e.g parasailing,diving...sadly it's only for much much more expensive hotel.and the hotels like that located in other side of the island.e.g at Pantai Pasir Tengkorak and Pantai Tanjung Rhu.or on the other small island around Langkawi like Rebak Marina Resort @ Pulau Rebak Besar. There's no other cheap hotel/motel/resort there.

the choice is your.i hope this will help u.
and please book the place and have the comfirmation first because right now is the super peak season.

Adventurous eh you're saying. Get a tent and camp along the beaches. You'll save a great $$$ for accommodation.
