Ever lived in a delusion? (APPEAR ON YAHOO, this is the 3rd time posted, please!)?

Question

Where you thought you were being watched, only until later that you thought not.

That after a few years of thinking you're normal, that you realize others are watching you, that you go mad and think people receive your thoughts, for a year and a half.

That you don't feel natural when thinking, and treat it as talking...a conversation to the world.

Well, that's how I've been for a few years now.

Tell me something (besides "Go see a doctor" because I already do) to convince me, COMPLETELY convince me that my thoughts aren't received by you or anyone.

Convince me that telepathy exists, but not in my sense.

Please, I beseech you. I'm so close to thinking that people DO NOT hear me. I need something to convince me for sure.

Oh, and answer the question above if you want a few points.

Well you need to think logically. For instance, thoughts dont actually make sounds. So it would be completely impossible for people to "hear" your thoughts. It's not really happening but you keep thinking it is... its like a habitual thought. Meaning its become a habit to think people can hear your thoughts despite the fact that they cant. One day, for some unknown reason this thought about people hearing your thoughts must have passed through your mind and for some reason you grabbed ahold of this idea and havent let go.(at least thats how most delusions come about). People cant hear or receive your thoughts. It's absurd. But you have to realize that for yourself. You have to get out of the habit of thinking this false idea. The more you think its happening the more it will seem real to you despite the fact its not real. The brain is a crazy thing and it can convince its self of anything. If I thought hard enough I could convince myself that I was a real mermaid. I could convince myself to the point of being 110% sure of it despite the fact it wasnt even true. Just because we believe in something doenst make it real.

Well, as far as hearing your thoughts, I thought this Q was about something COMPLETELY different. I was going to answer something like "Yeah, but then I came to my senses, and got divorced."

See what I mean?

I am not so sure that telepathy DOES exist, so I cannot attempt to convince you that it does.

Delusion is defined as "a fixed false belief". You're describing paranoia or schizophrenia. If you're seeing a doctor, you already know this and posting the same question over and over isn't going to change the fact that you have a mental illness.

I believe in telepathy and can sort of seen what you mean. As of right now, you're typing on an online message board, and you're not dreaming. But here's a real question: "What if our lives is just one giant dream?"
