"A link to the past" is my all time favorite, and I was very disappointed that it was not available for game cube.

I cannot find anything in the net, except hints that it might be available for WII. Does anyone know if they plan to release this for the WII? Any links to where I can find information/ Thanks, happy holidays!

You can always downlaod the ROM version of it as well as an SNES emulator, and then play it on any computer or laptop. I even have an SNES controller that plugs into my laptop and I have hundred of SNES games on it. Link to the PAst was probably the ultimate Zelda game they made too. If you want,.. shoot me an IM, and I'll email you the emulator and the ROM as an attachment, and you can knock yourself out :)

If you have a gameboy advance, A Link to the past is availible for that, with a bonus 'Four Swords' multiplayer game.

As for availibility on the Wii, it's quite likely. It was made by nintendo so I don't see why it shouldn't be availible on the virtual console at some point. Copyright reasons mean we won't see some games (Such as Blast Corps) bbut I'm sure that all Zelda games released for NES, SNES and N64 are definates

I am not sure when or if it will be available for Wii, but there are a lot of older Nintendo games on gameboy--so for my game cube I bought the gameboy conversion kit (cost about $50) and I can play the gameboy games on my gamecube, on a regular size tv instead of that little 4 inch square on the game boy--and this game is available on gameboy--I have it

I enjoy both games. As for which i like better that is a close call. I played both games over and over a few times. They both have interesting stories. If i was to reply one of them now, it would be A Link to the Past, i have played Ocarina of Time more recently.

link to the past was also my favorite

gamecube has a version of "link to the past" called four swords - game is similar, but new challenges were thrown in, in accordance with you controlling four links (or your friends, whatever) - it has been out for a while now

gameboy advance also released link to the past / four swords. yes, you can choose which version while in the gba game

also, you can attach the gameboy player to the gamecube, and put the gameboy advance version that's called "link to the past/four swords" into it, and you'll essentially be playing "link to the past" on the gamecube

They have it for GBA but it's under the name fourswords but I heard they are making one for either Wii or gamecube. But I hope they do, cuz it's my favorite game of all time.
