I have used the Bach Flower Remedies with great success. When I started having catastrophic (or so they seemed at the time) panic attacks a couple of months ago, Rescue Remedy was a big big help.
If you want to learn more about the Flower Remedies and Edward Bach's work and philosophies, try and find a book of his called Heal Thyself. Any of his books are great, but that's the best one to start with. I have found that reading other people's books on his work and remedies have really clouded his findings, as different people choose to interpret things differently, and embellish things that don't need embellishing.
I am changing my entire life based on Bach's philosophies, and it's really powerful stuff. Can't recommend it highly enough.

The Bach remedies do work. The results are views in children and plants, so it can't be a placebo effect. When my husband first learned of them and expressed suspicion and disbelief I challanged him to try them for his issues at the time. He did so and by the end of the week his problem was solved and he admitted he was surprised that they worked. I often use Bach but I sometimes prefer Green Hope Farm. They aren't preserved in alcohol. The variety of flowers with them is tremendously valuable as it their library of knowledge. I highly recommend them. http://www.greenhopeessences.com/
