Is it a myth that these birds attack live animals?

Crows are some of the coolest birds ever. I've actually seen several of them gang up on a bear because he was into what they considered to be their trash.. they attacked him and he took off running.
They are extremely intelligent and territorial creatures. They think strategically and work together as a team.

I adore them :)

No it isn't a myth. The idea is not to feed on the sheep, but to get them to move and stir up the bugs and rodents in the grass so the crows can find them easier.
They will also do this to get wool to line their nests.

I`ve seen birds pull out the wool on the sheeps back, not to attack but to line their nests.
