EU means only those countries which are in the continent of EUROPE, so when u think America has attached to Europe?

Um, I don't think the U.S. would ever be invited because it's not European, and both parties see the E.U. and the U.S. as economic competitors (unless the E.U.'s scope would be REALLY expanded.)
Plus, our Constitution probably wouldn't allow us to sign such a broad treaty that cedes so much power to another legislative body. We'd have to have a constitutional amendment (which, if there was truly going to be an effective world government, might be OK, but just for the U.S. to join the E.U., not going to happen.)
