Yes in some women this is normal, her hormones are at a high and then when they are spent they crash, after some time and kids this will not happen as she will not have the time to cry for someone will need a diaper change, nose wiped or driven to soccer practice.

Why would you do that when they are tears of "joy", dude? Maybe she is nervous and acting that way, but she feels she's lucky to have you and she's happy about it. You should be thankful and happy as well obviously.
