I have gotten pregnant twice with cysts on my ovaries. Both times I got pregnant right away, and the cysts actually went away during pregnancy. Now that I don't have cysts I am having a hard time getting pregnant...go figure!

having "a cyst" is probably just the follicle either about to release or having just released an egg. Cyst is a generic term that referrs to a fluid filled sac. Some cysts can be filled with blood (hemorragic cyst) others are filled with cells and some are just painful reactions to your body's natural chemical process. PCOS is completely different than having "a cyst" it is a hormonal imbalance that may or may not result in having a "string of pearls" of under developed follicles that never release an egg. The "string of pearls" is generally not painful and is only seen on an ultrasound and is just a symptom of PCOS not the disease itself.

You shouldn't have much trouble.
When you get preggo you get a cyst that feeds the baby until the placenta grows.
They can also tell (without pregnancy) witch ovary you ovulated from because you get a cyst on that ovary.

You still have a good chance of getting pregnant. I have had cysts on my ovaries and had three babies. I had surgery to remove them a year before i fell pregnant with my third.
So, yes you can get pregnant

You have a good chance. Do you have PCOS??
Women will produce cysts on their ovaries all throughout their life...we usually dont know because they will disolve on their own or they arent very big to begin with. I know lots of women who got pregnant with cysts and had no problems.
If its big and wont go away, you might need surgery to remove it....or it may just go away on its own. What has your dr said about this??

i had a tumor on my ovaries and i concieved cyst are the same but if the cyst are bad enough they could burst you should ask your doctor first..... good luck
