I think anything is possible. I don't know if they are Anne Rice or Interview with the Vampireesque. But perhaps they are like Zombies on TV we say they are flesh eating walking dead, but in cultures with voodoo they are people who are poisioned with the puffer fish and then are put into a dead like state making them zombies. Maybe there is a culture out there who does survive on blood and are nocturnal.

to the people who say no cause bodies would be everywhere...most legends nowadays say vampires do NOT need to kill when they feed..as to the question of their existance, who knows. there are people out there who SAY they are vampires cause they like the taste of blood and were gloth clothes but they wouldnt die if they didn't get blood so i don't consider them vampires by any means. If there are beings out there who NEED blood to survive, first of all, i seriously doubt they'd announce it or share that knowledge but when you look at how many cultures have vampire legends and how far back those legends go, it seems like they all had to have got the idea from SOMEWHERE..wether it be a lack of knowledge of the world around them or actual sighting of mythological creatures may never be known. I think anything is possiable. If you look at all the animal and creatures out there that have skills and abilities that seem odd, how can you say there aren't beings out there who have extrodinary abilities as well. But thats just my opinion..until you can prove they don't exisit..u can't say they dont.

No they do not exist. If they did you would always hear about bodies found with drained blood on the news. Also their would be grave disturbances because they are the living dead. And lastly their would be lots of missing person cases for people who had been last seen with two scars on their neck then disappearing. And since none of that happens, i believe they do not exist.

well, I'm not one hundred percent sure but i beleive humans that think there vampires might have had a past life as a vampire.

Vampires -- neat idea but I personally don't think they truly, actually exist or have ever existed.
