because they realize that it is a waste of time, money and patience and that it has an adverse affect on the brain....at least that's how i see it
maybe other girls just don't like them.
i talk on behalf of myself and perhaps a few other girls too.

It depends on the game. Most girls only like the very straight forward easy to figure out kind. Women in fact are much more socially intwined with each other that they grew up talking with other females more so than playing games. If you were to play a Massive Multiplayer Online Game, you would notice the male to female ratio would be 9 to 1, and even less on First Person Shooters. Sorry ladies, games like Rayman, Tetris, Minsweeper, Pinball, or some other adventure game... and maybe an occasional sports game with a guy friend, don't count. You will very rarely see one playing the most popular video games (the real video games) like First Person Shooters and Role Playing Games on their own, which require more dedication and time to get better at than they are willing to give. Most would rather be at the mall, on the phone, or at some other social event.

Most of them don't maybe because lot of games are about car racing,fights...and girls like stuff like clothing,make up,music...I am one of the girls who like them,Got an x-box 360 and a stirring wheel with it,I love Need for Speed and Gotham,beated dead or alive in 12 hours and love Gears of war...I just felt weird on x box 360 party 2 months ago they were showing some new games coming up there was about 80 guys and me...Women should start to play games too,it's a great relax!

I love video games. I just don't like the juvenile shoot-everything-in-sight kind. They're made for morons with a destruction complex. I prefer something that requires some brain power.

Depends on the girl and the game.
Many video games are targeted more towards boys and/or men, mainly because their content consists of violence, blood and gore, weapons, war, etc. Many girls do like these kinds of games (to which I believe you are referring), but they do like a lot of other video games (DDR, Super Smash Bros., strategy games, and much much more). It just depends on the person and the genre though. Everybody's different.

Ok mate, that is so not true, im always playing my video games and my sisters come and and start playing them for me (lol) they're 17 & 20. My eldest sister is addicted to Age of Empires and wont stop playing until she wins. CHICKS LOVE VIDEO GAMES AS MUCH AS US GUYS!

im a girl and i LOVE video games . why does your girl friend not like video games because a ot of girly girls dont like videogames blive me! i used to be one a long time ago!
