I have a iPod with over 800 songs in the library. For Christmas I am getting a new iPod Video. I want to know how to put music from my iTunes library to my new iPod without losing all the music.
Or how to save my library so when I get my new iPod I can just drag and drop the library onto the new iPod.
I hope this makes sense.

synchronise your old iPod with your computer (iTunes) and then just plug in your new Ipod. your new Ipod should copy all the selected tunes from iTunes.

Or if the tracks are already in iTunes I cannot see any reason why it wouldn't just synchronise with iTunes in the same way as your old iPod

ok once you plug on your ipod that's going to shoew a image of it. and fewer than that there is a verify container and then deal with music and video or something like that verify it and then sync it then to get the songs on you would possibly want to drag songs to the ipod for exmpl ____'s Ipod (drag the songs on to that)

just attach your new ipod to your old library and it will automatically install or you might have to say "yes" i want two ipos on the same library then just don't use your old one..it won't matter and it will work still
