i got offer letters from both LSE and UCL to study Statistics and Economics... which 1 should i go for?

Mick Jagger went to LSE - you're guaranteed to be rich if you go there.

Do you mean UCLA--the Univ. of California at Los Angeles? If you do, LSE would probably outrank it academically. But if you mean Berkeley, then that would outrank LSE. I would prefer LSE unless Berkeley has made you the offer. On the other hand, a degree from any reputable American university would offer you better job prospects within the United States. Another route would be to do a Master's at LSE and then a Ph. D. at an American university-- that would take at least five years.

For Economics, you may go for LSE. for a management course, you may like to select UCL

IMO LSE is better known for economics but you are lucky to have such a difficult choice. You can't really go wrong. Congratulations!
