If I had to name the biggest fantasy bust this year, here's how the list would be:

1) RB Lamont Jordan, Oakland - Selected in the 1st round after an 1,588 all-purpose yard, 11 TD season, he was suppose to be the focal point of the offense for the Raiders. But with a new head coach (Art Shell), new system, and a new QB (Aaron Brooks), it turn out to be one of Jordan worst season as a starter (his second). His season ends at 508 all-purpose yards (434 rush, 74 receiving) and only 2 TD. We know he was bitten with the injury bug, but we wonder if it's his stamina (he has been a backup for most of his career with the Jets prior to 2005), his age (he turned 28 on 11/10), or an enigmic offense. Either way, look for Jordan to be a sleeper come Draft Day 07.

2) RB Clinton Portis, Washington - A freak injury on the shoulder during preseason limited Portis production and eventually was shut down with another. After finishing the season with 1516 rushing yards, 11 TD in 2005, he ends up finishin with 523 yards and 7 TD, which is not bad but still not 1st round quality numbers. Look for him to rebound in 07.

3) RB Edgerrin James, Arizona - He took the money and run, literally. After posting 1506 rushing yards, 14 TD in his "walk" year, he sign with Arizona for the largest contract for an Arizona player (4 year, $30 million). Although he hasn't miss a game this season and on pace for a 1,000 yard season, his 5 TD is the lowest since his 2001-2002 season, when he posted 3 and 2 TD respectively (albeit he was injured back in 2001). Indy had the best offense in the NFL and Arizona is not (remember that). The offensive line is horrible and Matt Leinart is just barely developing in his rookie year, which equals to a bust year. Unless either Leinart (who could turn in a Carson Palmer-like year in 2008) or the OL improves, it's a buyer beware for James.

4) RB Carnell Williams, Tampa Bay - After posting 1,178 rushing yards in his rookie year (winning the NFL rookie of the year award) , big things were expected for this young fella out of Auburn (who outperform Auburn teammate Ronnie Brown back in 2005). However, the second year curse has struck again in Tampa (teammate Michael Clayton had a 1,000 yard season in his rookie year before making a dissapearing act in his second year). A change in QB (Chris Simms was knock out with a spleen surgery, making rookie QB Bruce Gradkowski the starter) and a horrible Tampa defense that has been consistent marred Williams from having his breakout season (projected to have an 800+ yards this season). I question if Williams is going to breakout after what happen to Clayton but he still has talent and years to breakout.

5) RB Ronnie Brown, Miami - Ricky Williams is gone, so he suppose to breakout in 2006, right? Well, not exactly. After posting 906 yards while platooning w/ Williams for most of 2005, Williams suspension was suppose to be a blessing for Brown. Instead, it was a curse that shun on Brown (Miami chose Daunte Culpepper instead of Drew Brees, Harrington reign the curse on Miami, just as he did with Detroit). Projected to finish with 800+ yards this season, he's no better than his Auburn teammate Cadillac Williams (both share HB and FB role). He still has lots of years to improve, so there's potential.

Other notable bust: Shaun Alexander, Larry Fitzgerald, Hines Ward, Randy Moss, Chris Chambers, Domanic Davis, Santana Moss, Reuben Droughns.

Those are all good ones. Lamont Jordan though should never have been a first rounder except in maybe a 20 person league.

Cadillac is another good one but he struggled last year too.

I would have to say that Clinton Portis is one, now yes he has been injured but in a lot of pools he was probably a top 6-7 back.

Shaun Alexander can also fall into this group because he was probably a top 4 player and even though he was hurt, that doesn't mean much in fantasy.

I'll go with Shaun Alexander, after breaking the record for most td's he was the #1 pick in a lot of drafts and he just couldn't stay healthy.

Keenan Mcardell was horrible but Dominick Davis was a high pick that was a total bust.
