no that would be your heater core.
It is either blocked or damaged or the diverting valve is not working correctly.

You have an air lock in the system, what you have to do is drain the water out first ( this would include the radiator as well ) then refill with the right amount of anti freeze and water, start the engine and turn the heater on to full speed and set the heater to the hot setting, do this for about 15 minutes or so, keeping an eye on the expansion tank which is located on the inside of the engine bay and top up with water as required, place your hand over the heat vents inside the car and you should fill that the air is becoming warmer once you are satisfied that its working correctly all one has to do is close the bonnet and switch the engine off, job done

I have just sorted out a similar problem on my Shogun and it turned out to be just the thermostat broken. Not saying it is the thing in your case but its a good place to start. Also check for leaks because if your water is low then it wont be allowed to divert around the heater matrix.Heater matrix itself could be broken too,but this is not usually an easy fix and in some cases you have to remove the whole dash.If it was your gasket then you would have either signs of water in your oil(easy way to check is to open oil filler cap and look for a whiteish scum, also remove dipstick and look for same)but one of the most noticeable things is the engine will usually start to over heat sometimes after even only a very short distance. If water levels and colour is okay then its either thermostat or the heater matrix.
Good luck

listen to Dr. sixpack. Don't think it's anything to
do with your head gasket. The rubber heater hoses
should be warm/hot

if it was the head gasket it would be skipping or water would be coming out tail pipes in raditator or oil. try checking the controll in the dash or you have a blocked heater coil

If you think it might be the head, just pour in a high dose of Anti-Freeze!! if the head is on it's way out, this will finish it off! so only do it if yr in a position to get the head fixed.
