How low is low maintenance?

There are a lot of low maintenance women that men don't look at because that's not what they're initially attracted to. I know a lot of men who see a girl and think she's low maintenance but later find out that's she's completely opposite.

One response said, "Low maintenance doesn't mean No maintenance." And I completely agree. I buy nice shoes and cute clothes, but I don't go to the salon every six weeks to get stripes in my head or put plastic on my fingers either. And it goes the same for men. It's not unmanly to have clean fingernails and toenails. It's hygiene. :)

It's all a matter of perspective, I think.
Personally, I don't think it's an oxymoron.
Maybe you just haven't met one. Or you've met one, but aren't seeing her in the "lovelight" :) Heehee. Good luck! :D

Depends upon your definition of "low maintenance". Is she a frumpy slob with outdated clothes and hair to her as+? Or is she wearing classic clothes, tasteful makeup and accessories with a good haircut?

Low maintenance doesn't have to mean NO maintenance. I fancy myself low maintenance as I don't put stripes in my hair every 6 weeks, plastic on my fingers every week, wear overpriced trends, own 15 handbags or 100 pairs of shoes, or choke people with the latest trendy "mustard gas" perfumes.

If a woman needs all these things then she is high maintenance and probably extremely insecure. Run the other way.

No, they exist. Many superficial high maintenence women become low maintenence if they're not given the attention they want.

My girl is considers herself low maintenence, but that's because she's got this engrained humility in herself.

Nope, I use what I need, no fuss no muss and just eat and drink healthy. All the fuss in the world is not going to help us if we don't take care of the inside and keep the outside clean.

Absolutely NOT !!

I am one... I save my money rather than spend it on fancy make up, hair products, nails, shoes, etc.... I still have clothes from 20 years ago that I wear... Take care of what you have and you can save the big $$$$.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaagh life is good !!

: )
