The Mary Kay yellow concealer followed by the concealer that best matches your skin tone is fantastic! It covers red/dark spots really well and foundation applies evenly on top of it. It's only like $9 or so, I think.

Sonia Kashuk at Target. All her stuff is great, a bit more expensive than Cover Girl but less expensive than a department store but is of the same quality. Try it- you'll love it.

I like Hard Candy's Out-Damn Spot! concealer. You can get it at sephora here http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P74304&shouldPaginate=true&categoryId=3793 and it really isn't very expensive. The only downfall is that it only comes in two colors, so I had to buy both and blend them together a little, but I've never found anything that covers as good as this!

I believe that if you wanna have something to be so effective, you have to invest a little more. my best coverage is estee lauder. covergirl, nyc and other more are cheap but it did not give me the coverage i want to so it's just a waste of money for me. just drop a few more dollars to a product which will satisfy you more.
