Try Aaron Carter songs and Jesse McCartney songs. Alot of kidos seem to enjoy Hannah Montana too. Disney songs?? Have no idea other than the three up top. Maybe some old N'Sync songs or Backstreet boys. Hanson?? Lame, but good for kids.

I'm sure I heard somewhere that the major demographic for the Top 40 singles chart is 12-year-old girls, so my advice would be to start at no.1 and keep going 'til you're outta £££.....
Although when I was 12 I was listening to Guns n' Roses, Megadeth and Rage Against The Machine.... oh, and I still am ; )
Good luck, and Merry Xmas to both of you!

12 yr old girl would most likely be into:
Britney Spears, Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, Backstreet Boys, Jessica Simpson, Christina Aguilera, Aaron Carter, Jennifer Lopez, NSYNC, etc......... to me this is all crap but she will like alot of this stuff. You could also put selected songs by groups like the Beatles, the Doors, Santana, the Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Elton John, etc.... she may like them as well

You could get the songs from Now 65 - always a good selection of chart music, a good mix of pop, indie, dance, r&b etc if you're not 100% sure what she likes.
Hope this helps!

Sift through some of the stuff in the charts, or download the newest 'now that's what i call music'. Something like that, i would suggest some nirvana or Panic! at the disco.......... but i doubt she'd like it.
Merrry Christmas!

if she isn't into anything particular then put a mix of songs that she might like thats for her sorta age, usually its pop stuff like the pussycatdolls, britney, christina aguleria, westlife, beyonce, stuff girls can dance too cos its that age. She can always delete them if it's not her choice, point is at least you tried and that'l show.

Does she have knowledge of real music?
If not, put some mainstream things in it. Like what everybody is into now. Maybe some Pussycat Dolls or that Hilary Duff girl?
