u can clear the history content or
u can have the option of 0 day store password

you can't turn off web history... you can only clear the history cache... it is for a good reason such as spam, hackers and pornography viewing... so when the official catch you, all the stored files in your system are considered evidence of what you have been doing... although clearing the cache and turning off the web history won't protect you... you have the system restore to deal with... and the primary and secondary drives.... example, currently you have a primary drive where you can save and edit files and programs; secondary drive is an orginal copy of the primary drive, all of the orignial software and files are stored.. much like a ghost drive, and the worst thing is, it automatically saves all the web pages you have viewed... difficult to say, but it can not be found... not even in the Recycle bin...

You cant but you can erase all the cache it has in it, by clicking history and clicking clear history, but its better you dont erase it beacuse it saves all the stuff you ahve been doing in the web and it even saves the info.

For Mozilla Firefox (1.5.0.9) or above :
Go to Tools > Options > Saved Forms

and Uncheck the Save information........
