When I was 8, I use to listen to funky-butt music. Like, straight up. There were people singing like chipmunks to some trance music. It was real weird. I forget if it was an album or just a song.

A mate of mine had an album by some crowd called 'The Wizzards of Twiddly' which was utterly barking. It had a song on it called 'I am an Armitage Shanks' (as in toilet or wash basin).
