fish sleep without closing its eyes.why?

Some fish dont have eyelids. Some have clear eyelids.

There are just too many predators in the ocean!!!

Fish don't sleep or close their eyes because they not having the eyelids.

They ALL have eyelids.This may surprise you but that is right.But it looks as they sleep with open eyes cuz the eyelids are a thin membrane that remain crystal clear all their lives.

no eyelids, they may not even totally go to sleep anyway as they always need to look out for predators. they may do like dolphins where only half the brain sleeps at a time.

Because they don't have eyelids, they have a tank/pond full of water so they don't need moisure of eyelids.
