Your question simply tells me that you're seeking a better insight into the nature of your existence. So if you have a high-speed Internet connection and can use the database is available at a nearby librarys website. Or perhaps an access to the local technical colleges, databases or University of Phoenix online library databases. Then the first thing to do is start recording the television series on a DVR which you can configure with your computer, then keep a notebook or to use your laptop to take notes on the things that you find particularly interesting within the context of the television shows plots, perhaps with voice to text software. Then take those notes back to the research databases and insert the ideas to find more information about the interesting parts of the shows, you may want to watch the shows at one half times forward speed and even skip portions of the shows or entire episodes altogether, you can find out the titles of the episodes online. It appears that you are looking for a degree in social science such as sociological physics. If you want to make this a very challenging task then by the first three seasons the old television show kung fu on DVD (the ideas you will be looking for in that show are buddhism and not identifiable in words because of Taoism www.dharmaprinting.com word abacus) or download them online at your own risk of virus infection, the correct computer configuration for this task would include some sort of collaboration software such as what is available @ cNet.com or the new Microsoft Office OneNote 2007 demo, for rearching the information based in the television shows and what you find in the research databases at whatever school library you can access through someone's password and username login as a student. Then you can make this a shared task and build relationships with friends.

If you like LOST you will like Heroes, because of the never-ending mysteries...the new season starts in January, but you can catch all the old episodes on NBC...
Also, another new show I fell in love with this year is Ugly Betty, and also you can see the old episodes online on ABC's web site...
Enjoy!
