im getting really sick of hearing stupid people telling jokes about those poor girls
its really bad that they have been killed and instead of making jokes about it we should be thinking about what we can do to stop something like this happening again
dont forget those girls were loved by people and will be missed a great deal my heart goes out to the ones they left behind
i say stop making jokes about them and just think how you would feel if it was someone you knew

Basically I agree with you, jokes like that are sick.
It is part of the human condition that we try to belittle that which frighten's us.
There cannot be many of us who have not at some time actively thought (if only for a moment) that we really , really would like to kill someone.
Some males will be caught in two traps- the" Killing Scenario" and the "What if I used a prostitute /that is so sad Scenario", hence they feel the need to distance themselves from such feelings by belittling the objects of all the excessive media attention.

I COULD'NT STOP SLAGGING EVERYONE OFF FOR CALLING THEM THE BIG "P" WORD IN THE FIRST PLACE.
WHY DON'T PEOPLE USE THERE BRAIN'S THAT THESE WOMEN ARE HUMAN BEFORE BEING ANYTHING ELSE AFTER THAT.

People make jokes about these things BECAUSE they are so aweful. It is there way or venting the horror of it, making it easier to deal with and move on from. If you can;t put these things in persepective or get some relief from them then your going to make yourself ill in the end.
Your not being disrespectful as I would think anyone who tells these jokes would tel yuo that what has happed is aeful and wrong.

I haven't heard any 'jokes', but am saddened by the media coverage that continually refers to them as prostitutes. Why does this matter? Does it make their murders less horrific? Please start treating them and their families with more respect and refer to them as women.

I agree - I heard that one of those poor girls was pregnant too. How can anybody see something funny in the murder of a mother and an unborn child no matter what her occupation was.
