Simple answer...........You cant unless you have access to some of their confidential information such as annual accounts.
Companies House will only display abbreviated accounts which do not disclose turnover. And this is only for Ltd's.
If the business is a soletrader or a partnership these are not made public and you really dont have much chance.
If it is a PLC then yes you can.

If they are a Limited Company (Ltd) or a Public company (PLC) you can easily find out from companies house.
If the company you want information on is a PLC, they will oftem publish financial information on their web site.

As per law individual business and private limited need not make their balance sheat public .public limited company balance sheat should be published in a paper and it is also available in a web site.
