Space started in a singularity and expands from that beginning outward at the speed of light. There are models emerging of the shape of the Universe based on new data. Here is a real photo that we have made of the beginning of the Universe:

Why do you think 'everything is limited'? I find it harder to imagine that the universe is limited, than endless. Wherever you are in the universe there must be something further on, even if it is only space. Just my opinion.

it depends on your definition of "the sky". if you only consider what is inside our atmosphere then yes it is limited. if you don't use the atmosphere as a boundary then it is limitless for all intents and purposes considering we have found no prrof that the universe has an end.
