aims ? after all they were elected by the palestinian people. likewise why doesn' the US help the lebanes people who in an election will support the hezbollah? at least to get a majority? where does it leave the US drive to democratize the region? I would rather not go into Saudi arabia. they have cleverly made the US their cat's paw to fight the spread of Iranian influence in Iraq.

gee I think it's because the Hezbo's don't want democracy. In fact some of them blow theirselves up to kill the ones who do believe in it.

anyone that is tied to hezballah u.s. will not help in anyway shape or form, plus why get in the middle of israels cross hairs, israel can do more damamge than we ever could. more power to israel.

nov, 82. 241 u.s.marines were killed by hezballah, if lebanon wants the hezbellah out then they must do it themselves. u.n. is a waste of time, and the marines in the past few months that got the americans out of isreal and lebanon was the first time since 82 being back in that area.
we dont owe lebanon a thing. they vote hezballah in, so that is the bed they made and they have to live with it.

The simple answer is, the entire world is awaiting Hamas to recognize Israel as a country and relent their claim to the destruction of Israel. How can we promote Hamas , when they themselves have shown no hint of wanting a Democracy.
