It's unlikely. He courted his own arrest by talking to the Sunday Mirror.

And now he is famous, has lots of hits on his myspace site, and is probably selling Hong Kong Phooey DVDs on ebay!

I wouldn't be surprised if (a) that was his intention all along and (b) he ends up on I'm a Celebrity next year....

He has been bailed pending further inquiries and to gain evidence from all the forensic material etc., obtained so far. He is not finished with the inquiry. He is bailed to return to the police station at a later date. This is not uncommon in UK law and happens on a regular basis. Neither he nor the person charged is guilty of anything until a trial by jury decides the outcome................

no, he was arrested, treated within the law, and released without charge.

There was reasonable suspicion as he claimed to know all the girls.

There are many instances of people seeking limelight after commiting a crime, its thier way of proving power over the police.

Its releases on bail, not unconditionally, so the police are still open minded at the moment.

People only get compensation for gross misconduct or negligence - not just for being wrongly arrested or stopped and searched.

If that were the case there would be multi-millionaire black guys strutting around in every urban area.

Plus that guy seemed to be a likley suspect - he knew all of them and seemed generally unbalanced.

well i have just heard that he is not in the clear yet as he is out on police bail, only when he has not been charged with anything then he will be free and then he should sue them for the time he was locked up, but on the other hand the police are just doing their job and have to follow leads

He has not been found "not guilty" he is on bail pending further investigation. If he is found to be an accomplice or involved in any other way he will still be charged.

no the police are liscenced to arrest people if they have reason to suspect them of a crime. If they are proved innocent, they are mearley released, why are they going to apologise to a man they used to suspect as a serial killer? also if they paid every guy who was found innocent they'd be broke!!
