My son is 15, and is being abused by my ex, an FBI agent. This man REPEATEDLY gets away with it. We were just in court two weeks ago. The judge said she would talk to my son. She did, and was very disturbed by what he told her. Yet, she tried to make him go for visitation last weekend. The transfer was to occur in her chambers. My son FLIPPED OUT and ran from the courtroom. She felt that was "childish" behavior and is now disbelieveing his testimony because of that. She is making him go to his father's for Christmas. I am infuriated! Will justice ever be served? Or will my ex have to kill my son before anyone believes the truth?

Susan - This is a terrible situation. I would do everything in my power to "fix" it. I would do the following:
1.Contact the Judicial Board in your state by writing them a letter to complain about this judge. Ask if she has had any disciplinary problems?

2. Write your Congressman.

3. Take your son and go to his doctor. Ask him to write a letter
stating what the boy has said.

4. Make an appointment with your clergy or rabbi. Ask for a letter substantiating what your son has said.

5. Go to the school. Ask for an appointment with the Principal and do the same.

6. I would also contact your local radio station or TV News station. They often have an reporter -advocate who will do a story on a situation like yours . It is extremely helpful for people who cannot get results. Once the situation hits the airwaves, someone will listen. I had this experience. I felt there was no recourse and the higher powers were being bullies. I sent an email to the TV station and the next day they were there with cameras and microphones rolling. It was amazing how quickly resolution was found. Go for it! This is your son. No one will go to bat for him like you will.

7. Last, but not least, ask Bill O'Reilly to support your cause. I wish you the best.

Contact a lawyer and call child protective service, they do not care if your EX, is president, they will have to act, or contact your local police and file a complaint and get a protective order through the court, at your local court house. If what your claim is true do it now.

I'll believe it when he kills him. Most of the time the ex-wife gets the kid to act like this to cause problems for the dad. He probably moved on with his life and you can't stand it.
