Hahaha, I read your questions as 'What do you do with unwanted parents!'
Erm, take them to charity shops.

Four options:
1 - take them to a charity shop - no profit for you, but you might feel good about it
2 - sell them on ebay, then use the money to buy something you actually want
3 - recycle them - just make sure you remember who gave you what!
4 - start talking about something you really really want ages in advance and keep mentioning it every so often. Any friends/family members who don't pick up on this not-so-subtle hint deserve to get the recycled presents anyway.

Just accept gracefully and stick em on Ebay. I had my birthday last fri andgot a couple of gifts that I'm never gonna use so I'll sell 'em, there some bits labelled Ted Barker in London, maybe that'll fetch me a few quid. Money's been real tight this year so it will work in my advantage.

Give them to a charity shop, or give them to other people if they have expressed an interest in them. I hate to say it but last year I did throw 2 unwanted gifts away, but if you had seen them you would have done the same thing

Ha, I got the same problem. Hope they gave you a gift reciept so you can exchange it. People get people gifts because they want to get them something that they'll really like. But what's the point if you're going to hide it in your closet for 10 years, then throw it away one day? It's better to spend their money wisely and just exchange 'em.

Why do you need to tell them that you don't like it?? There's no harm in keeping it a secret. I keep them for a while and if I don't use them, I sell them at a car boot sale to raise money for something I've really wanted, at the minute I'm saving for my wedding.
At least if they do ask where it is you can explain it wasn't really for you and rather than it sitting there not being used, you sold it to get something you really wanted.

well I think the best way is to ask the person if they could change it for something you have´t got . most people don´´t mind, and most people keep there recipts for a time Merry Christmas ,ps let´s hope this year you wont have that problem

The gift which you get from others keep them with you , if you like them you can use them if you don't want them to use them then you can give that particular gift to anyone else at a particular time . This will save your money and you also free from unwanted gifts.

Wrap them back up and give to someone else as a birthday present!!!.
Trouble is, you have to remember who sent you the present in the first place. Imagine them opening the prezzie in front of you then saying 'isn't that the one I got you for Xmas!?.
