WESTLAKE -- Police in Westlake say they've solved a string of crimes, involving car break-ins, credit card theft and stolen property.
It turns out the young suspected thieves, caught on tape, made it almost too easy for detectives.
Eighteen-year-old Brett Schnieder was arrested Wednesday morning at his home in Westlake.
His neighbor, 19-year-old Brian Kilbane was apprehended a few hours later. Both suspects caught on surveillance video using a stolen American Express credit card at two gas stations.
It turns out then they made it easy for detectives when they also used a Giant Eagle Advantage Card.
"It seems that information is valuable to a retailer and in this case it was valuable to us," said Westlake Police Captain Guy Turner.
Both teenagers now face several felony counts.
The two neighbors will be arraigned Thursday.
