woman is a gender thing....
whereas a lady refers to the female gender of a 'gentleman' ,...essentially, its a usage denoting the 'sophisticated' woman , so to say...

A woman is any adult female. A lady is an adult female that has integrity and class. Same goes for the difference between a man and a gentleman.

a woman is for man only who can use her body for sex while a lady is for the society, which benefits from her goodness and learnings and respects her a lot. while it is not necessary that every woman can be respected. A lady is surely respected...

i think a women is used to describe a matured, growing from a girl, learning all these things and being through all these experiences.
ang a lady is used to describe a phisicaly growen girl.
but to me they are the same thing

get the difference, your not a women until you have childers, and if not then your still a lady
