This year is bitter sweet for me, I seperated from my husband my sister father in law died so she wont be celebrating with us, My children are going to their dads for boxing day. The only people i know in my family who are looking forward to christmas is the children. Two lots of presents one christmas day and one on boxing day. So its your turn now!!

Well, I think I can beat that. My mother passed away in February and Christmas was her favorite holiday; she always went way out with decorating, making the traditional cakes, pies, candy and cookies, always had far too many gifts for me and my brother when we were growing up and passed that trait on to the grandchildren.
She did not leave a will and it has caused quite a bit of animosity between my brother and I. We have always celebrated Christmas together and he if refusing to participate now. It feels as if though not only has my mother passed on, it feels like my brother went with her.......

My Christmas will be nice. We have a family of 42 this year.
Never mind my Christmas, I'll be thinking of you although I don't know you. Maybe you could check on volunteering and helping serve the needy on Christmas. A lot of people give up Christmas to help.

Going home for christmas, having neighbours round for "un-christmas dinner" saturday evening, then grandparents for proper christmas dinner on sunday, then presents sunday evening, then mum is working christmas day cos she gets 4x normal pay, then dad's birthday 27th (another meal)...

That's very sad . but Christmas is for you to see the joy in the children's eyes , enjoy what you can. I'm staying home .Merry Christmas

I am sleeping until about 9PM and then going to work. That is if I work that night, there is some confusion there. If not, I am going to take some Benedryl and Nyquil and sleep the whole holiday.

going to the north west to meet my boyfriends family and that night he and i will be back in Joburg at Paulshoff for a braai by the complex pool with my work mate and her boyfriend...
