1. Don't get involved with him in his habit.
2. Continue to do other activities with him that are fun and wholesome.
3. Don't judge him but encourage him to get help before it gets completely out of control.

And always remember that people addicted to pornography often have a non-sexual motive behind their behavior.

How to avoid porn addiction on the Internet

1. Consider installing porn content filtering software( Strongly Recommend NetDog Porn Filter, you can get it from www.netdogsoft.com ) on your computer. it will help to protect you from stumbling into pornography by accident, That's important.

2. Do not try to guess what the address of a Web page is. Many pornographic sites have similar addresses of respectable sites. For example www . whitehouse . com is a porn site. The real address is www. whitehouse . gov

3. Never click on Web site addresses that you receive in an unsolicited email.

4. Do not open attachments that come in email that are unsolicited.

5. Use filtered search engines or reputable directories to find the information you need.

6. Do not search for terms like girls. Think before you enter a search term.

Stick with reputable sites.
If something looks questionable, don't let curiosity get the best of you. Delete it or close the window.

First analyze if it is really an addiction. I am into porn but I watch it during my free time and I don't make excuses just to watch one. If it tends to interfer with his social life (work or study, friends) and he becomes a bit distant to his family, then he needs help.

Talk to him about it (you and your friends). Do not talk to him at one time. Try to talk to him everyday or every other day. Do not open up the topic about his addiction. Just ask why he is always watching porn or something. Tell him that he is missing a lot of things because he is not around and you are concerned that he is always in his room alone. Play around with that question. Let him talk and realize what he is doing. Do not force him. You can also organize a party or outting. If he begs off then try asking him the questions. It is easier for an addict to recover if he admits his addiction. Look for a psychiatrist who can handle his case.

Too much of any one thing, to the exclusion of other activities, is not good. He may be using the sexual images to supplant something he is lacking in his life. He may feel by watching other men perform he is participating in that performance.
Ideally, he should talk to a therapist. Maybe if the addiction is imperiling his job or relationships.
If not that, then he has you. Try to engage him in other activities not related to porn. If you have sex with him try somethings exotic and new.
It may too be a phase which will pass with time.
Good luck.

That's the right way.... get him a real life partner...male or female dependent upon his orientation, mind you......she/he should be erotic....like porn star....and the way which make love should be make him more horny....

unless it's gotten to the point where he can't 'get off' with a real human being...then you might want to suggest therapy.

Get him to start some psychotherapy to find why his mind is fixed on this. There will be an issue underneath that his mind is pointing him to. Once he discovers the issue and processes it, the addiction will dissolve.

Do nothing. He's not hurting anybody, is he? And it's safe sex to the letter. So long as it doesn't interfere with his day job, friends and social life, then I say, leave him alone.

I'd watch it with him. I started to with my buddy a couple of years ago and now we have a great time watching it together, even though he's straight!
