First, let see what kind of bluetooth is on the laptop.
If your laptop came with bluetooth, then everything should already be setup. You just need to pair the phone and the laptop. Skip to Pairing
If you use the "Dongle" (the little bluetooth ad-on, USB type, etc.) You probaly have to install the software that came with the dongle.
Some bluetooth software might create an extra menu for you. When you right click on a file, there will be option to send via/to bluetooth.
If not, then you have to open the software and probably find a menu to send file to other blutooth device.
Now, about pairing:
1. turn on your phone's bluetooth
2. Find menu that say something about "devices" or "bluetooth setting"
3. Find what may say "Make this device visible" or "allow other device to see me"
4. on your laptop's bluetooth software or right-click on the bluetooth icon, look for "Pair Device", "Add device" or "Search for device"
your phone should be close to your laptop.
5. Connect to the phone, Depending on how it was setup, it might ask for passcode (it will ask both on the phone and the laptop)
This passcode is just to prevent someone to connecting to you without permission. You can enter any numbers - BUT it has to be the same set on both Phone and Laptop.
6. After that, try Right click on some file, see if you have menu to send via bluetooth. If you do, it should show what device is connecting to your laptop.
If you dont have the menu, then you have to open the software to do it. Usually, Right-click on the bluetooth icon should have the menu to send file, the a window should pop-up to let you select file(s) to send.
Note: You might not even have to pair the device. With the phone's bluetooth turned on and discoverable, try to send the file from your laptop via bluetooth. It probably ask you to searh the device and once found, it will send the file.
