Well it is possible. If you get bloated when you are on your period then the water weight could make you heavier than you actually are. Also cravings could make you gain more weight. If you eat a lot when it is that time of the month then you could gain weight from that.
My best advice is to drink lots of water and try not consume salt or salty food during that time of the month.

I gain a couple of pounds of water weight each month when I get my period. It is common for this to happen, women tend to retain water during that time of the month. It goes away after a day or so, though.

Yes,im sure.when im in my period..i kinda feel nauseated all the time but at the same time i crave certain foods which i eat quite often during the day.
so combined with the water weight,,im sure i gain a kilo or half

it's really water weight then anything, that's why they always suggest drinking losts of water while menstrating, to flush the body out.
