Views are for vistas, more like a glance. I see 4 walls with pictures. The first wall has a picture of my dead grandmother at her funeral. The second wall to my left has a photo of a guy at a meat packing plant cutting up meat. The third wall has a painting of a chair made out of wicker and the under caption reads," Take a Load Off Fanny". The wall in front of me is has a poster on it of a red Ferrari and a model laying across the hood smoking a cigarette.

Very rosy, but then everyone says I view the world through rose-coloured glasses.
Looking out my study window I have a great view of the neighbours Christmas lights and then over to the lake on the palm-studded golf course.
The course has three windmills slowly moving (no I'm not in Holland, the course has a drainage problem!) with fairy lights on the blades.
Yes indeed, the world is a fine place in my eyes.

The more I see, the less I understand.
But the view is usually really nice to look at.

the overall landscape is bleak

but I prefer to notice the odd pretty flower, ray of sunshine, and little blue faeries I come across. they make it all worthwhile.
