Anyway I got my DVD Drive and 04 But recently Its been Overheating.......... Badly But now its getting to where it Shakes The Desk well Vibrates more less and this is a very Strong desk to if i am not Mistaken Its oak and its thick so my question is what does this mean can i fix it myself or is it a piece Of **** Which is most likely?

Also I hate Warrenties they take weeks what's the point if you can go to Walmart pop It In and call it a day? I Used to build computers just don't Specilize in DVD Drives lol

I SUGGEST TO DEFINITELY GET A NEW ONE,BEFORE A FIRE GETS STARTED FROM IT.

There's definitely something wrong with either your pc or the dvd drive. Even at it highest speed the dvd drive doesn't vibrate that much. What you need to do is open up the computer case and leave the machine running to see if the dvd drive is the problem. Tighten the screws that hold the dvd drive to the case. There should be 4 screws. If that does not help, you need a new dvd drive, fast. Get a more recognized brand this time.

Suggestion,Get a external dvd burner.They work great and easier to replace when time come's.No i don't get those warr,either there a waste of money,besides the unit dont go out till it's exspired anyway.I dont think ive ever used my internal drive in my pc,except to put in programs.Good luck,but for safety dont use the one you have take it out or just replace dont use.
