I am. That's the way life pans out. I am pleased that I can do what I want and when. I don't feel sorry for myself. In fact I feel sorry for those who will have a rotten time being in the thick of things. I guess in i had met the 'ideal' partner I would be happy to share my time with her. But as I get older and more grumpy I have become used to my own company. So you are not alone in being alone. Whether or not you feel lonely is a matter of your perception. Try to learn how to enjoy yourself more. It can only make you a better person (i hope). Good luck and may 2007 be kind to all.

Well I hope it isn't through choice, I hate the thought of anyone been alone at Christmas, there is always room at our table for those who want it, hope your day turns out to be wonderful, have a very merry Christmas.

Me.And I have to work Christmas day. I have a party planned for myself, anyway. I bought prime rib and crab legs, and I have potatoes and a spinach souffle in house.
I got some presents from the people at work, so I have something to open. I'll watch TV, may even put a fire in the fireplace and play carols.

I am sorry to hear that you will be alone. I hope that something wonderful happens to make your day special beyond expectation. And that wish is for all others in the same situation.
For me, I have family and friends, and am very blest in that area.

Alone here, not happy about that, but that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.
In all... I've had worse years, and a lonely christmass isn't the end of the world.
