infidelity, parent's influence, not wanting to spend extra money on a loved one for christmas, depression (seasonal depression is big this time of year), inability to conceive, money problems, simply not meant for each other.

Heard today a new study says 95% of couples are having sex before marraige. Would waiting make a difference? Maybe, but I think communication is the issue. My bf and I talk about everything and have to work through temptation to wait until marraige for sex....that's tough, but will grow us closer. I think a relationship needs to be built on honest, open, communication. Once in the marriage the Bible says you are one body so when he wants sex, you should give it to him, but when you want the dishes done, he should do them...so I guess honoring each other's needs...but all this comes back to communication.

You must be reading my mind, because I have been wondering the same thing. I have 3 friends that have split up with their man in the past month. In all of the cases, the man was either talking to another woman or cheating on her.

the answer is very plain and strait forward ( easy come easy go)And no endurance what so ever .well it is the time of sexual equality is it working ?I have been together for 42 years. And would do the same thing again .People get applauded today on TV if they have been together for 5 years I think people have no intention of stopping together any way from the first meeting.

Hmmm.. where should we start? Money, children, job.. comes down to a society that says divorce is the easy way out and that if you're not happy, leave. Problem is, whereever you go, there you are plus all the baggage you've brought along.

One word. Stress. We are all just mammals, primates and there is a little bit of the animal in ALL of us. That's what makes us human.
As stress increases, the females become more and more agressive, eventually refusing to mate or reproduce. The males, meanwhile, become more feminised and eventually start to mount each other out of frustration..

No-one feels they need each other anymore to survive, it's acceptable by families, even the church now. So if people don't get exactaly what they want they no longer even try, just quit and look for someone else. You could call it pursuit of hapiness or selfish depending on who you are.

It may just be that way in your circle of friends. Couples are always getting together and breaking up.

There is no commitment, no love, no honesty, no communication, and no intimacy. A healthy marriage takes all of that, and no marriage can work unless God is in it.
