It seems that the American standard of beauty has changed...I see a lot of exotic models of African, Asian, or Latina or Middle Eastern descent I know that there are still a lot of white models, but is the "white girl" look, the typical one with light eyes and skin (any haircolor) out of date and less appealing to men and to people in general? I think it's good that the standard of beauty is more diverse now, because there are beautiful women from all ethnicites, but are white women in general becoming viewed as less beautiful, less interesting, more dull? Do guys, including white guys, prefer women of African, Asian, Latino, Middle Eastern descent over white women in general?

theyre not seen as more beautiful, its just different than from the images previously shown. over the years minorities fought to have themselves represented in the media as beautiful and have recently succeeded. all ethnicities have features that are equally unique and equally beautiful.

"Do guys, including white guys, prefer women of African, Asian, Latino, Middle Eastern descent over white women in general?"
Nope. I think it depends totally on them. Not the race but the person if you know what i"m talking about.
And no, I still think that American Beauty is American Beauty. After all, the United States is diverse in HOPEFULLY every way. That's also good I think that they are doing this. It's time for the minority groups to get recognized.

No, the one thing these "ethnic" models all have in common (especially the black ones) is that they're almost always half-white. Halle Berry, Alicia Keys, Christina Milian, Jennifer Beals, Mariah Carey, Vanessa Williams, Shakara, Thandi Newton, and the list goes on and on just happen to be half-white--that FACT right there should tell you something only an IDIOT wouldn't understand. Tyra Banks and Beyonce also have mixed ancestory (although one of their parents is not directly of another race) and both wear straight artificial blond weaves. Almost all the pop stars presented are the same such as Ciara and Rhianna--all have light skinned (mixed ancestory) and wear blond weaves. Asian women like Tara Patrick kristin Kreuk are also half-white. Although asian women have long been thought of as delicate and exotic for hundreds of years (pure asians). The only reason these "ethnic" models are presented is to provide an illusion of multiculturalism PC propoganda--but it falls in its face when the facts above are presented.

Well what ever you do, don't try getting darker!
The reason I don't find white women over 30 that attractive is that they get all wrinkly from tanning too much when they were younger, combine that with a sense of entitlement, and I'll take a pot-bellied mexicana milf any day of the week over some prune faced prudish white woman. I'm a translator by trade so foreign women tend to respect me more than Anglo-American women anyway.
There are other cultural elements too. 90% of vegetarian White women do not know how to cook vegetarian, and they are the most likely to EXPECT you to be a vegetarian, so if you are a vegetarian man, definitely go for the Asian and Ethiopian women.
I could go on and on about white women, but I don't like to generalize. I think that gender roles have changed so much in the American culture, that the sweet innocent, "Fresh Off the Boat" immigrant woman is held in higher esteem because she is untainted by feminism, though some immigrant woman are even more ambitious and self-centered than conscious feminists.
Ooops, I forgot to mention Black American Women. Black women are great, as long as they aren't terribly damaged. They tend to look at feminism more in practical than ideological terms, and don't tolerate disrespect. I think black women spend more time on their appearance, and I like that. I remember spending an hour and a half trying to look good on a date I had to keep for this white girl (The one and only time I ever used makeup because I got into a brawl the day before) and I was pissed because I was dressed to the nines and she looked like crap.
But all and all, I think that guys look at who a woman is rather than what she is.

Almost all latina models are white.
Do you think Gisele Bundchen is "exotic" only because she comes from Brazil???
By the way, the guy below said that "Adriana Lima has white blood in her". SHE IS WHITE. Affff! Do you think all Brazilians are non-white?

Hmmm...that's like asking, are all Pomeranians cuter than all Poodles?
There is no one race of female that represents beauty. Beauty is a choice, I think Jessica Simpson is pretty, my brother prefers Beyonce, so who is right? We both are! There is beauty in every shade known to mankind.

Gisele is from german descent
Many models like in victoria's secret are from brazil. No I mean lets be freaking honest now many beautiful women have caucasian affinities.Guys like halle berry, but still she isn't all black.Guys also like gisele who is from german(white) descent. And Adriana Lima has blue eyes and you can see she has white blood in her.People get confused with the fact of being dark skinned and black are the same thing.Okay just imagine if charlize theron had dark skin and then look at beyonce. That would be a major difference. And if darker women are so proud of who they are why do they all go blonde?
