The most important thing to do on Christmas day is to enjoy yourself and make sure those around you are enjoying themselves.

Remember Christmas as we celebrate it now is not just one festival it's a few intermingled like the Christian birth of Christ, the European tradition of Santa Claus and the Pagan festival for winter Winterval(sp). So, not one thing is the 'correct' way of celebrating!

Celebrate family traditions that YOU enjoy with people (family) that enjoy them too.
When asked a question that might turn into a conflict pretend you didn't hear the person.......or answer that's an interesting perspective......or gee i never thought of it that way.

Do what you love, love what you do, remember the day is about LOVE PEACE AND JOY-- and if you cannot be in a place that supports that, or you cannot give it, don't go there. be good to yourself and others!

Relax, chill out, and have a break from the stress of the year before. Enjoy yourself, and build up your own positive energy for the year ahead. Enjoy the plans you have made, and see the positive in everything, and don't let anything get you down. Have one day where you can truely be yourself.
