My English teacher let us make a diary for the whole school year. Our purpose in making a diary is to know our progress in grammar and style, and to see our psychological progress. Our teacher checks it everyday. This is 25% of my total grade in that subject.
I've fell in love with My Diary since day 1. I decorated it, put doodles, put some favourite things and worst things that happened in a particular day.
But making a diary made me go gaga about it. My family said that I ignore my studies all for the sake of my diary. Some say I became more emotional and more temperamental. And the worst is, whenever I lose or forget to write my diary, I just cry and shout like crazy.
Today, I submitted my diary and my teacher said she won't return this anymore. I was deeply saddened. I just decided to make another one, from a cheap notebook bought from a store. I just can't help it!
Please help me advice to this dilemma I'm facing, can you?

It's good to have a personal diary where you write things important to you, but i suggest you kept it private. The purpose is, aside from becoming aware or being intouch with your feelings and thoughts, you can also check your personality growth in certain issues. Since it is personal, keep it privately but objectively, being emotional about your diary might make you obsessed about it and it is not the real purpose of having one.

There are many kinds of diaries: love diary, academic diary, spritual diary...etc, depends on how you will name it.
