I think that they can hear you talking to them. Talking to people that have passed away can help you cope with stress and grief and I think that when I talk to my grandmother, she can hear me. You can almost feel them with you.

Yes..they can hear you. However, you do not have to go their grave for them to hear you...They are always with you!!! You can be in your room and talk to them! I'm sure that they send you signs that they are around. You need to watch Montel Williams Show on Tuesdays...I'm not sure what time but usually at 9 or 10 am. They discuss this very topic with Montel and his friend Sylvia Brown!!!

I Know I would talk to them even though the whole world say "no they can't hear you".
The thing is what happen if they can hear you?
Like aerosmith sing the song "I don't wanna miss a thing"

What difference does it make? It makes you feel better and for someone to tell you your crazy they can't hear you is insensitive. I believe deceased family members are watching from up above. Everyone has the right to believe what they want. To me it's comforting to know they might be able to hear me. ( sometimes I just tell my grandma how much I miss her when sitting in my home) MY business. YOUR business.

Dose it really matter if they can hear you or not? If it makes you feel better then talk. I believe in prayer so I believe God listens so why not family and friends that have passed and are seated at the right hand of god.

a lot of spiritualists and mediums believe that when you pass, your spirit does not go to your resting place but goes to that persons favorite place or hangs round family or friends houses as they wish to be near them.I believe they can hear you talking to them,i think they can also read your thoughts if you're thinking about them and they can see what you're doing. Please dont think you're being silly that you're talking to your family/friends at their resting place,it's your way of grieving and feeling close to them.

well the bible says the dead are in deep sleep( read the story of lazarus) the bible also tells us that the devil will appear as an angel of light . so i believe that any dead people talking back is an attempt at satanic deception. 1 samual 28:7

Yes, i do so!
But, does it matter? If you feel like it, then do it, you'll feel comforted! If we knew for sure that they can listen us, the graveyards would be crowded and this confessions you are talking about wouldn't so meaningful for you!

I think they can hear you no matter where you are, not just the gravesite. Their spirits will always be with you, where their body is laid is simply symbolic.
