We are the sex that have had to grow up in a society until about the 1920s where we were looked upon as incapable and basically useless in society in general. We also are the ones that have to endure certain health issues that men dont have to, like menstration, carrying a child for nine months and then delivering it, and then to top it off..menopause. So why are women difficult? Maybe because we have to go through some of the most difficult things...

I find humans in general to be difficult creatures.

Of course, it depends upon exactly what you mean by "difficult."

I have a feeling that if we ever truly met, I'd find you just as difficult, at least by my own subjective definition.

People are difficult. We are all individuals and no individual is easy to understand. Why single out only women? You disregard the other 50% of the population.

I could "ask why men are so difficult" but in doing so I would be overgeneralising and any argument that I may legitimatly have would be weakened beyond all credibility. I would be ignorant.

Women may have PMS, but men have the equivalent mood-swings, dictated by the moon, too. Full-moons affect every-being, men, women, and animals. . .

I once came across the term for this male-PMS phenomenon, but have lost-it now (maybe my next question), sounds similar to angiopause, but is not a disease of any kind. . .

Anyhow, you do know that women mature quicker than men, no? Maybe that's why you find us to be so difficult. . .

Why not try catching-up. . . : )

to you perhaps because you don't have the capability of understanding them
i find men to be very difficult because i know them all too well. the problem with women is that you guys never look deeper then what you see on the surface.

Women aren't difficult; men just don't know how to LISTEN. When they learn that one simple skill, the world will be a better place.

If I were to base my answer solely on the answers given to this question, my own answer would be:

1. Women are difficult because they hate men.

2. Women are difficult because they don't even understand themselves.

3. Women are difficult because they can blame it on "hormones."

Sounds about right. Thanks for the honesty, ladies!

we are very complex creatures. sometimes we dont even understand ourselves. that is the truth, and any woman to tell you that she understands herself is a liar. woman love romance and like to get wrapped up in romantic movies... then we want "movie like" moments to happen to us. women also go throught this monthly thing... yea... that takes a lot outta us and thats why we tend to be a little moody... OK A LOT moody, every month. Women are difficult because we can be... a lot of women are expected to be difficult so they just are. I tried, but honestly, your question is almost, if not, impossible to answer.
