I used Prozac 20mg daily for 6 days for premature ejaculation. But it results in lack of libido, less sexual drive, and less erection. What should I do? Would these side effects go away automatically? If yes then how long it will take?

Lack of sex drive is a side effect of Prozac and I can't believe some bozo put you on it for this condition. Geesh!! Since you have only been on it for 6 days you should be able to get off fast (usually it takes a very slow withdrawal of 10% cuts at 3 week intervals to prevent withdrawal effects) - try 1/2 the dose for 3 days and if you feel o.k. cut the other half. If you don't feel o.k. on the first cut after 3 days stay on it until you feel stable again and then cut the other half. Please from now on take responsibility for your own health don't just buy anything you are told just because someone has an M.D. after their name. With the internet to search for alternative medicine and even conventional, you really have little excuse for this "Here I am - do to me as you will" attitude. Be thankful you found out in time before permanent brain damage was done to you. Remember only 100 years ago, some doctors were ridiculed by mainstream medicine for telling nurses to wash their hands when delivering babies. Remember the bloodletting, the leeches, etc.? They haven't changed much.

I have never heard of Prozac being used to treat premature ejaculation. You'd better speak with your doc about the loss of libido and other things that have surfaced.

Get this book "The Prozac Backlash" It explains the effects of Prozac, and sorry to say they are not good, a friend of mine had terrible side effects from the med and was worse, luckly I found the book and he went off the med. Go back to you Dr. or another Dr. and change meds. Best Wishes.

Did you try to treat it in natural way? Before you try to use any drug, you should try on natural treatment.
