same shoes i have done the same thing because i felt sorry for a very very good friend but never got it back i have burned a sign on my hand that i would never helpanother person.
i think 1 word of NO nothing happens but if u say Yes ur fkd for a very long time

They say that friends are for each other in happiness and in sadness; it will depend on how much u define the friendship between you and yoyour friend , if he is ur real friend then the money u gave him will not be considered as lost but as an investment in this relation because u will get its benefits back again some day . but to me giving money will not be considered as a solution as much as searching for the problem that he required for money to solve it and try to overcome the roots that caused it . finally i can't offer him an amount that will overcome my tendencies...

I COULD lend thousands and thousands of dollars to a friend but I choose NOT to.
